OUR STORY & HISTORY
Your dining experience at our Trattoria is inspired byDon Costa’s maternal Grandparents The Seiveno’s. For centuries the family lived near Bari, in the Apulia Region of Southern Italy. Known for its abundant Olive Oil, wheat & fruit production, Apulia also offers access to fishing & varieties of seafood. The abundance and varieties of such fresh foods provided the regions creative home chefs the main ingredients of a wonderful dining experience. Raised in the fine Italian traditions of family food preparations, Don’s family moved to America in the late 1800s to share it. Often, Don proudly states that he graduated from the: “Culinary Institute of GRANDMA” because literally, that’s what he did.
